ON EAGLES’ WINGS

This photo was taken in Caesarea Philippi, also known as Banias. The water originates from Mount Herman then flows into underground springs. It then makes its way down to the Galilee, into the Jordan River and then eventually, the Dead Sea. The water provided life to ancient Israel and still does today for modern Israel.

You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.
Organization is vital to success. Moses’ father-in-law, Jethro, suggested a type of organization that proved to work well. Israel used this for many years. God blessed this structure and used it for His glory. Now, as Israel has put their house in order, God is ready to reveal Himself further to them. God spoke to all the people, and the people responded with this commitment, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do” (19:8). Many times Israel failed, but there were periods when they kept their word to God. The message is that in spite of failure, don’t give up. God dealt with the Egyptians, and from available records, Egypt was led by their Pharaoh into a period where they turned from many gods to the worship of one God. God will bear His people “on eagles’ wings” to bring us to Himself.
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Lord God, thank You for sound advice such as Jethro gave Moses. Please send such a counsellor to me and to all who pray with me today. Grant all of us an ability to organize ourselves in such a way that Your purposes will all be fulfilled. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!
100 PERSONAL WORDS:
When Israel was established once again as a state in 1948, Jews immigrated from Yemen in the Arabian peninsula. They saw the airplanes that came to carry them as God bearing them up on eagles’ wings. In recent years, the Jews from Ethiopia, carried by air to Israel, believed the same. I am totally convinced that God, Who delivered His people from Egypt, eventually establishing a state for them, has done it again in my lifetime. I was 12 years old when it happened. I remember the headlines in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper. I saw the newsreels at a Saturday afternoon cowboy movie with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. I read a book in the 1950’s by William L. Hull from London, Ontario, which documented the miracles involved in this unprecedented event (I saw an old copy of this book for sale on amazon here. It’s called, The Fall and Rise of Israel). For the first time in history, an ancient people were re-established in their own land, and an ancient language was re-born. God has not forgotten His promises.

Yes,today it is as in Moses’ time;God is/has given (part of) the Promised Land back to His chosen people.’Iliyah’ is the term used for ‘moving back’ to Israel.In my view,we have been living in the ‘End Times’ since Jesus ascended but Israel’s rebirth certainly shows we are closer to His return,perhaps eminent.Like the D Day invasion when the Allies created many diversions and false information to fool the enemy,don’t you think the Lord could do so much better?They then broadcast a warning to the French citizens several hours prior to the invasion so they could take shelter or flee inland.That warning to us will be in the sky.Then we will hear trumpets sound.Nuff said.Yall have a great day.God bless
A Mighty Cloud
The eyes of the blind become crystal clear,
The mute shall be heard to speak,
While he who was deaf will then hear,
And the lame shall no longer be weak.
Living streams in the wilds and desert flow
And leprosy is cleansed from flesh,
As the poor will then come to know
The good news that comes afresh.
Now when the dead again are given back
And knowledge is found world wide,
While the sun and moon turn black,
Will be the time for evil to hide.
It is near the time that the sky rolls open,
When trumpets will sound aloud,
For then the Word we had hope in,
Will come forth with a mighty cloud.

Sah and Ger:Long before I surrendered to Jesus on my knees,I had prayed “on my knees” for our adoption to go through after 2 failed bids.’About 3 months’ later it did.Then about 6 years later,after finally leaving my adulterous wife,I did not want my 6 year old son to see me using booze as a crutch so I prayed (I knew enough to pray in Jesus’ name.) “on my knees” to take away ‘my desire to drink’.About 3 months later that desire nose dived and I stopped drinking (as opposed to “quit”).It never bothered me at all when others drank and for about 6 months I still played pool with ‘my friends’.It was not until after I did surrender that I realized the significance of those prayers because they were answered “about 3 months” after the prayer.

William your giving me goose bumps! Praise and thank the Lord for removing the booze! What I was so thankful was the fact that God helped me to do this also, He knew what was happening to me and my body by drinking & smoking at that time and He determined how to rid me of these sinful desires by sending the Holy Spirit to do His Will. I am so thankful to this day; I did not engage in any programs, HE DID IT WALL FOR ME AND FOR YOU WILLIAM!
if you desire to quit bad habits, begin to pray to the Lord about removing these bad habits. Plan how to quit on a daily basis, substitute a piece of raisin bread for a smoke, drink tons of water, plan an exercise, once you get the smokes to only once a day; be proud of your success, then, substitute a piece of chocolate for your last smoke…..
plan the same with letting go of gambling,drinking; any other habit that is not healthy…..
You will find a way to be successful, your body will be so healthy in about a month! You will sleep better, have more clarity,then plan an exercise routine, always thank yourself and God for the success your are having. Remember God is right beside you always and when you smile HE SMILES ALSO!
