Key Verse: 2 Samuel 24:24
Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Lord God, the way I live my life will inevitably have an effect on others. I pray for Your grace and power in my life to be obedient to You 100% of the time. Please forgive my sin and bring healing to those who have been hurt in any way because of my sin. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!
100 PERSONAL WORDS:
I often heard my Dad pray in our family prayers as we knelt at our chairs after supper, “O God, may the smile of Your approval be on our lives.” I knew my parents would tend to smile when I was obedient and did something good, and I feared their frowns when I did the opposite. I knew that punishment was to follow on the heels of my transgression.
Tomorrow, God willing, I will read, with my blog partners, Galatians chapters 1 & 2. I’m so thankful that because of the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, I am now, on the basis of faith, not of works, free to enjoy freedom from sin and its power over my life. Judaism, the expression of the faith revealed in the Old Testament, is often called the cradle of the Christian faith. In Galatians, we will learn that the practice of Judaism almost became the grave of Christianity. I’m excited at the prospect of moving from King David to his descendant, King Jesus!
Yours for victory over sin, and for healing from sin’s effects through the Lord Jesus Christ,
David

Enjoyed the blog and vlog today Pastor David and Ron. Looking forward to seeing you next Tuesday on Yes TV and pray for the Lord’s strength. Praise God for the answered prayer for Irene, Sah and Cynthia. Still agree in prayer for Marc and Beth. God bless you saints. Loved that song, used to hear on 100 Huntley St. about costing me nothing. God bless you saints.
Yes, me too, looking forward to seeing you on TV next Tuesday and getting into Galatians!
You and Ron look great together …I joined with you two in prayer!
The spirit of anger leads us act foolishly, which we later regret.
Amen, Irene. I had to curb my anger, today; almost sent an email out of haste and was so filled with the Holy Spirit afterwards, which calmed me. I realized, God sees and knows everything that transpires between us and within us. He carries the weight of hurt for us, when others do us wrong. We don’t have to remain down by burdens imposed on us or bitterness becomes embedded in us. We can let it go and trust Jesus to carry it for us because, honestly, it doesn’t belong to us. We belong to the joy peace and love of God Almighty, ruler of heaven and earth!
Amen, Beverlee.
Thank you, saints, for your prayers for Marc. God has heard them! Marc is still in hospital. The doctors have asked that he be bumped up on the transplant list. He is hooked up to tubes and being closely monitored. Everything may happen much faster than anticipated. If they bump him up he could be getting a transplant ASAP. We thank you for your continued prayers for this to happen. What an amazing God we serve!! Amen!!
Amen
Yes, Amen!
Beverlee Kay and Irene! I love you both! I am so thankful that we can be very open and honest with our feelings on this blog! That is also an area where I have appreciated David Mainse for his honesty!
The Holy Spirit works over time when we are honest with each and with God! I wonder why we think we can act one way with someone and another way when their back is turned! That’s our sinful nature BUT when we confess the issues such as anger, jealousy, gossip, and so on, the devil flees and we can come to our Lord God and tell Him we are sorry for our sins, please forgive us and HE HAS ALREADY FORGIVEN US! Amazing Grace!
Lord I pray that You would place Marc at the top of the list to receive the liver….
we thank You that he will be able to return home soon and live a long happy healthy life! Thank you Lord……..Lord I thought it was Your timing that I watched the program about a transplant of a liver with Hep C and how it turned out to be very successful! What a blessing Lord! Thank you!
Thank You Lord for hearing all our prayers! Thank You for healing all who are ill; grant them a new body, grant them a happy life, that they may serve You always and give You all the glory and thanksgiving!
I want to share some very interesting information regarding acupuncture! I have had acupuncture for years,
what this treatment does is open all the arteries, making sure there is no blockage, when there is a blockage it takes a few treatments before everything runs smoothly!
When the arteries run smoothly with no blockages this greatly reduces any cancer from growing. Acupuncture works on every part of the body! It is a very amazing treatment, I would encourage people to do research!
It is very good for arthritic problems, for many mental illnesses, headaches, so much more….
