I AM THERE
Suggested Reading: Matthew 18
Key Verse: Matthew 18:20
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Were you in church yesterday, Sunday? Were there two or more people there? Then He who cannot lie was in the midst of the worship in a special, unique way. Norma-Jean sang a song for me from the piano yesterday, “He is here listen closely. He is calling out your name. He is here you can touch Him. You will never be the same.” Just the two of us were worshipping, and we experienced the presence of Jesus. When we confront problems and difficulties we are not alone. He is here! It’s a fact! Minister to someone today. You can assure that person that HE IS HERE!!! Just as certain as Jesus was present to heal in Galilee, He is there as you minister in His Name!
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Lord Jesus, please send Your Holy Spirit upon me so that I will be totally confident of Your presence, particularly as I meet with others. Your Word declares that You inhabit the praises of Your people. Amen!
100 PERSONAL WORDS:
Last Friday night Nik Walenda walked over Niagara Falls on a tight rope. Did you hear this Spirit-filled believer worshipping? He was heard all over the world saying,”Thank You Jesus – thank You Lord – Praise You Lord – I worship You Jesus.” Over and over, when the sound of the broadcast took his words, he was worshipping. A great congregation including Norma-Jean, our two grandsons, David and Adam, and I, were praising God with him. Like Nik, when I need to experience the presence of God, I begin to worship. I’ve had the honour to know the Walenda family personally as they have appeared several times on the 100 Huntley Street telecasts which I hosted.
Yours for walking in challenging circumstances,
David

Aren’t those quiet times with the Lord special? Times when you can get absorbed in the Word, in a cherished devotional or sermon? God is good and His promises are true for each and every one of us today. In John 15:26 it reads “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.” God is with us! When we are in His Word, He is with us, guiding us, comforting us and giving us wisdom and great joy. Thank-you Holy Spirit, for you both light and life speakimg truth into our very being. Amen.
I have read this verse many times; but it was fresh for me this morning; Matt. 18:20. Thanking Him that He is our midst whether there are 2 or 3. Praise Him for His presence at all times in my life, and for sending the Holy Spirit!!!!
The presence of God is precious and I am so thankful that God spared my life to celebrate another milestone in my life! Praise His Name!
Good Morning- I too was rejoicing in my Spirit when Nik was walking the tight-rope across Niagara Falls praising the Lord for what he called, “a blessing” to be able to do what he was doing. I prayed that the Lord would get him safely to the other side and I was also very thankful that we had a positive role model doing this for the world to behold. Praising our wonderful Lord Jesus as he took each step in faith! What a great lesson for each and every one of us…. and it reminded me of that wonderful old hymm… turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His Glory and Grace.
Greetings David . Just read your latest blog . Could you please also remember ( just as in the 4th Commandment ) those who worship god on the 7th Day , Saturday ? Perhaps just say , ” Did you worship God in Church this week ? ” . God never excludes anyone who comes to Him .
If you believe what you said, “God never excludes anyone who comes to Him” why do many SDAs believe they are the only real Christians? I was told by a SDA that I was in the wrong to go to church on Sunday because it is not the original Sabath. Doesn’t make me want to go back to visit that Seventh Day Adventist church.
I was so touched with Nik’s praise across that wire, what a testimony, and the millions that heard it. It was so hard for those reporters to ignore it, save for one that brought it to our attention, had we not already heard it. Thank you Lord for that testimony of You that will reach and touch so many. Thank you David for these 100 words, and thank you for 100 Huntley St. The way I start my day.
Thanks to God for Nic Wallenda with another great testimony for the world to the faithfulness of our awesome God whose faithful Love for each of us endures forever. Another Nic named Nick Vujicic whose testimony no arms, no legs, no worries testifies to the faithful provision of our awesome Lord in meeting the needs for each and every one of us also. Praise God from whom all blessings flow..
