LET GOD ARISE! (Psalm 68:1a)

But let the righteous be glad;
Let them rejoice before God;
Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.
Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
Extol Him who rides on the clouds,
By His name YAH,
And rejoice before Him.
The Lord gave the word;
Great was the company of those who proclaimed it.
God’s Name, “YAH” (Hebrew) is “JEHOVAH” in our language. There is one true Creator God! Our God is “the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” We may want to read from our translation from the Greek language the words of Paul in Ephesians 1:3-6. The “awesome” (to borrow from yesterday’s reading) plan of God for the salvation of the whole world is ours to communicate to every man, woman, and child.
In Psalm 67, the word “NATIONS” is repeated three times. God’s face is shining upon us so that God’s “way may be known on earth,” and so that there will be “salvation among all nations!” “ALL NATIONS!” Can we, the readers of this blog, possibly be a vital part of that great “company of those who proclaimed it?” How each of us answer this question will make a huge difference in accomplishing this task or, on the other hand, failing to do our part. Which will it be?
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Lord God, here I am waiting before You. I pray for grace to be a part of that great company whose job it is to proclaim Your Word to all the “NATIONS ON EARTH!” I pray for unbending determination to never, never, never give up on the accomplishment of this mandate to which You, “the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,” have called me. I ask for a great company to join together with You to get the job done. Amen!!!

Thank You, Father, for Your Word, for Your grace, for picking us up from the dead and breathing Life into us.
As David prayed, help us be part of Your church, bringing Your Word to all parts of the Earth.
Give us the courage, boldness, and wisdom that comes from Your presence in us. We want to be Your good and faithful servants to this world that so desperately needs You, in Jesus’s name, amen

I have to pick up my granddaughter this morning. She is at the age where her Mother knows nothing and doesnt help her with anything. That is her thoughts not mine. I am praying that God will open her eyes to the truth. Her Mom Has helped her every step of the way, always trying to help her fulfil her dreams – be it school, work, or the assortment of animals she has – dogs, cats, goats, horses. She is so polite and helpful to others, but for whatever reason Mom cant do enough and is to blame for everything that she feels isn’t working out. Please pray for them, mend their relationship and for them both to have the right words and to show their love for each other. Please also pray fir me to have the right words this morning.

Has anyone heard from Beverlee Kay??Also,please pray for Eunice Griffin who is in a Hamilton hospital cardiac unit with congestive heart failure.She’s been on 100 Huntley St before in the 70’s with her late husband Jack.She’s 92 and been a great mentor.I would not be surprised if some of you know her.

The Only One
If I had been the only one,
No matter what I had done,
He would have sent His only Son,
To die before the setting sun.
I may have thought I was dirt,
But He loved me anyway,
Through all the trials and hurt
To save me for judgement day.
He broke the demon’s strangle hold
But we have to be free to choose,
Either love or Satan’s earthly gold,
But choose the glitter,then you loose.
So do not hunger for great wealth,
For riches may bring you to ruin
And you will find in heaven’s stealth
That treasure there is widely strewn.
Free choice is a great gift to all,
It came with Him off the cross,
And if I stumble and I fall,
He saves me from eternal loss.

Beverlee has been very much on my mind lately. I have prayed for her. Perhaps she had her back surgery and is recovering. Whatever her situation, may God help her and may she sense His presence and comfort.
