Key Verse: Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV)
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
“CAUTION!” This prayer will change you, your family, your income, your giving, your friends, your church, the use of your time, your character, your personality and everything about you. This is Jesus’ prayer request! As soon as you offer that prayer, you become the answer. You are now called to be a labourer. Please read Isaiah 6:1-8. If you confess that “Jesus Christ is Lord,” you have only one answer, “Here am I, send me!” Never sit around waiting for God to push and pull you into service. Your free will controls the gas pedal and the brakes. Push the “Pedal to the metal” and GO FOR IT!
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Lord, I am making decisions; please guide me. I believe that the decisions are from You. Now I will initiate action as Your laborer. Amen!
100 PERSONAL WORDS:
My Dad served as a Missionary (21 years in Egypt), an Educator, and a Pastor. My DNA is serving Jesus. At age 16, Jesus’ laborers surrounded me at school and at my part-time job. I made the decision to give my life to Christ in December of 1952. The following June I had a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit and in August at a Youth Camp I prayed, “Lord Jesus, I would like to serve You full time for my entire life. Would You please give me a clear call into Pastoral service and as an Evangelist.” He did, and I have “pushed the pedal to the metal” since that time!
Your fellow labourer in the harvest,
David
P.S. [Note: This “P.S.” was originally written on June 10th, 2016] Two years ago this month I had a dream come true. I rode the “Billy Graham Parkway” in Charlotte, North Carolina, on my 1996 Honda Gold Wing motorcycle. At the Billy Graham Library, I visited the gravesite of Ruth Graham. Billy, who is 97 now, will be buried beside her if the Lord’s return does not happen first. Billy’s grandson, Will Graham, joined me in Charlotte and we rode our motorcycles to Asheville, where the Billy Graham Retreat Centre, “The Cove,” is located. That was my first motorcycle trip in the U.S.A., and I enjoyed every minute…praising God and singing as I rode!
Stunning top photo by Reynold, scripture, David’s story and prayer; just love the Carolinas. Guide us, Lord. We are Your labourers. You’re better than anything that the world could ever give. And we are undone by You. We’re so in love with You, Lord! We’re so in awe of You! There’s so much beauty in all of who You are. Blessings fellow saints in the Lord. We serve a Mighty God, indeed! Amen, amen and amen!
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!”
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
Isaiah 6:3b, 8b ESV

Wonderful song Beverlee. Wonderful reading & photography. I think I would have loved to go on a motorcycle to Billy Graham’s place. So happy that David had that opportunity. Have a wonderful & safe day all. I believe we are in for unsettled weather in Southern Ontario today (to be followed by some cool weather this weekend). Blessings all.
Storming here, now, Doreen.
Labourers! Workers! These words sometimes scare me because I feel so inadequate to do any work for the King. And my history is so poor. I don’t know if I’m the only one who feels that…
Dear Lord God, You tell us in Your Word that You have made us for good works, and that You have prepared the work for us. So please give us the confidence, courage, and boldness to go and do the work You have given us, with joy and diligence that comes from You. Please, Lord, give all Your people the wisdom and compassion that shows Your presence in this world that is so in need of You. Thank You, Father, for everything, in Jesus’s name, amen
You are a prayer warrior, Rob. That is your calling and you lead it well as God’s labourer, worker, and guide to inspire others to claim and know Him.
Rob I agree with Beverlee, your prayers are very uplifting as are Beverlee’s. Not everyone can share their thoughts the way you two do.
Thank you Lord that we each have a part in sharing the Gospel whether by prayer or in person. Help us to be guided by your Holy Spirit as we seek to share the Good News with others. I pray this In Jesus’ precious Name Amen.
Blessings to all, Eleanor M.
Amen
I agree with Eleanor your prayers and Beverlee uplift and make my day.

Love all this scripture, blog of David’s and your posts, fellow labourers in Christ. Lord if you can do anything, use me. I like that David called himself a fellow labourer not outstanding pastor or evangelist as indeed he was. Lord help us to fulfill your will for our lives, Amen!
I found it interesting to see David riding his motorcycle with Billy Graham’s grand-son, Will Graham.
Will Graham is coming to our area in Oct. for Evangelistic meetings. I believe it is for 3 evenings. All of our churches here in Sudbury are having pray meetings to prepare us and the people of our area for life changing experiences through first time commitments to Jesus Christ.
It is uniting all of our churches together as we pray for souls to saved, relationships to be healed and restored from the many denominational churches as we pray in one accord.
He was in Belleville last year.
God’s. Richest Blessing on all bloggers
Amen
Great photo’s Reynold thank you and thank Ron and Ann for continuing to post this blog
I recall seeing David’s motorcycle ride and how much he enjoyed it. It truly was a miracle.
